01 — ABOUT

Sixteen years old. Ten years ahead of my CV.

My name is Nikolas Gaitanaros — Nick Gaitan — and I’m 16, from Nikaia in Athens. I started messing with computers long before I understood it was a job — breaking things, rebuilding them, and asking "but why does it work like that?". My first site went live when I was 10.

I never stopped. HTML and CSS led to JavaScript, JavaScript led to Linux and Docker, that led to networking, Cloudflare and servers, and lately to AI and automation. No school for it, no courses — just documentation, trial, error and a lot of late nights.

Today I design and build websites and infrastructure for real businesses serving real customers every day. I don’t hand over a template with a different logo. I do the strategy, the design, the code and the server setup myself — which is why the pieces actually fit together.

I’m not interested in building something that merely looks good. I’m interested in building something that still works at 3am while nobody is watching.

    04 — FLAGSHIP

    NEXUS OS

A personal AI operating system. Built around local models, privacy by default and real control over the infrastructure.

NEXUS OS is an active personal project under development. What follows describes architecture and roadmap — not commercial performance claims.

    Architecture

    Select a layer for details
Every way to talk to the system: web console, voice, terminal and mobile PWA — sharing one state and history.
The routing brain: picks agent, tools and model per request, with safety policies and a task queue.
Vector search, a knowledge graph and an encrypted vault. Data stays local by default.
The router picks a model per request: local through Ollama and LM Studio for daily use, cloud (Gemini, Claude, OpenAI) only when explicitly allowed.
One layer for every device in the house. Home Assistant, MQTT, ESPHome, Shelly, Matter and Tuya all speak through the same event bus — lights, climate, sensors, scenes.
Containers on a Raspberry Pi running 24/7, a FastAPI core, reverse proxy, metrics and backups. Designed to scale from the Pi to a server without a rewrite.

    Capabilities

    Privacy-first

Data never leaves the network without explicit approval.

    Local inference

Local models for everyday tasks, with no third-party dependency.

    Automation & Scene Engine

Rules and scenes on an event-bus architecture — one action, many devices, one result.

    Voice pipeline

Wake word → speech-to-text → AI → text-to-speech. The full loop, in Greek and English.

    Smart home & infra

Controls lights, climate and sensors, while also knowing the state of the servers and backups.

    Persistent memory

Long-term memory with a relationship graph, not a flat chat log.

    Multi-agent core

Dozens of specialised agents cooperating under one brain, instead of a single model doing everything.

    Plugin system

New capabilities plug in at the edges, without touching the core.

    Roadmap

    1. Phase 01In development

      Foundation

Container infrastructure, local inference, base web console and secure access.

    2. Phase 02In development

      Memory & Retrieval

Vector memory, document indexing and connections to personal knowledge sources.

    3. Phase 03Planned

      Agents & Tools

Tool registry, multi-step agents and execution policies with user approval.

    4. Phase 04Planned

      Voice & Ambient

Local STT/TTS, wake word and ambient presence across mobile and desktop.

    5. Phase 05Research

      Autonomy & Ecosystem

Scheduled autonomous jobs, self-healing infra and an open API for extensions.

    Design principles

    Privacy by default

Local-first storage and inference. Cloud is an option, never a requirement.

    Data ownership

Open formats, exportable memory, zero lock-in.

    Observability

Every action is logged and explainable. No black boxes.

    Progressive autonomy

The system earns permissions gradually, with explicit approval at every step.

    05 — PROCESS

    Nine steps. Zero surprises.

A transparent flow from the first conversation to long-term support.

    1. 01

      Discover

Understanding the business, the goals and the real problem — before anything gets written.

    2. 02

      Research

Competitor, audience and technical constraint analysis. Data, not guesses.

    3. 03

      Strategy

Content architecture, message hierarchy and a technical plan with clear deliverables.

    4. 04

      Design

Design system, wireframes and high-fidelity UI. You approve before a line of code is written.

    5. 05

      Development

Clean, semantic code. Component-based structure, no unnecessary dependencies.

    6. 06

      Testing

Cross-browser, responsive, accessibility and load testing. Real devices, real networks.

    7. 07

      Deployment

Deploy with CI, DNS, SSL, CDN and redirects. Zero-downtime migration from the old system.

    8. 08

      Optimization

Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, structured data and continuous data-driven improvement.

    9. 09

      Long-term Support

Monitoring, backups, security updates and evolution. I don’t disappear after launch.

    06 — TECH WALL

    FAQ

I’m Nikolas Gaitanaros — Nick Gaitan — 16, from Nikaia in Athens. I’ve been building digital systems since I was 10 and today I have six live projects serving real businesses every day.

Premium websites and eShops, AI platforms and agents, cloud infrastructure on Linux and Docker, gaming ecosystems (FiveM, Discord, launchers), brand identity and technical SEO.

Per project, not per hour. After a short brief you receive a proposal with clear scope, deliverables, timeline and total cost before anything starts. Most projects land between €120 and €600.

Not for premium builds. Code is written custom in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for maximum speed, security and control. WordPress is only recommended when a specific content workflow requires it.

Monitoring, backups, security updates and data-driven optimisation continue. Support is part of the process, not a separate product.

NEXUS OS is designed and built by Nikolas Gaitanaros (Nick Gaitan), 16, from Nikaia, Greece. It is a personal project — unrelated to Cisco NX-OS, Cornell’s Nexus OS, or any other product with a similar name.

A personal AI operating system under development running on a Raspberry Pi, with six layers (interface, orchestration, memory, models, devices, infrastructure), an AI router across five providers, a voice pipeline and smart-home integration.

A landing page starts at €120, a corporate site at €200 and an eShop at €300. The first consultation for businesses in Nikaia, Piraeus, Korydallos and Keratsini is free of charge. The final figure is issued in writing after a brief.

A landing page in 1–2 weeks, a corporate site in 3–5 weeks and an eShop in 5–8 weeks, provided content is ready. Hosting, SSL and Google indexing are included in the launch.

Yes. Work is done remotely, in Greek or English, with deliverables in a shared environment.

    07 — LAUNCH

    Let’s build something serious.

Seven quick steps. You’ll get a reply with a proposal and an indicative timeline.
